    VSS Catholic Communications is granted an FM frequency at 93.7, licensed to Firth, NE (Lincoln rimshot).  Call letters:  KOLB  (station is a satellite operation of KVSS 102.3 FM, Omaha, NE).
    Transmitter site:  7800 Olive Creek Road, 3 miles north of Firth, NE.   300 watts at 233 feet.

  • 2011

    May 26, 2011-  VSS Catholic Communications sells KOLB 93.7 FM to Home Field Communications for $250,000.  Buyers:  Ron Romero, Chairman 60%, Jim Keck, General Manager 40%.
    Station is taken off air for the time being in order to be upgraded.

    July 25, 2011-  Call letter change to KNTK  “The Ticket”.    (KOLB call letters are transferred to VSS Catholic Communications station “Spirit Catholic Radio” at 88.3 FM in Hartington, NE.

    August 8, 2011-  KNTK construction permit is completed.   Power is increased from 300 watts to 6,000 watts.   Studios:  330 N. 48th, Suite 300, Lincoln, NE.  Format:  Sports

    September 23, 2011-  License is granted to Home Field Communications.

     

  • 2021

    May 14, 2021-Home Field Communications sells KNTK to BDP Communications ( Rebecca Pearson)  for $450,000.
    June 1, 2021-  Pending approval of sale, BDP Communications enters into a Local Marketing Agreement with Home Field Communications.
    August 13, 2021-  FCC license transfer is  approved.
