    Construction permit is obtained by American Family Association (American Family Radio, Tupelo, MS).  250 watts at 161 feet.  Call letters assigned: KXLJ.

  • 2002

    December, 2002- The American Family Association trades the KXLJ construction permit to Educational Media Foundation for a station in Mississippi.  The deal also includes EMF getting some stations in Arizona and Oregon.   CP upgrades to 1,700 watts at 147 feet.

  • 2004

    January, 2004-  Call letters are changed to KKLU.

    May, 2004-  Call letters are changed to KLNB.

  • 2005

    KLNB signs on with Christian Contemporary, K-Love network.  Owner:  Educational Media Foundation (Rocklin, CA).  Transmitter location: 2.2 miles from Grand Island on North Road, near West Old Potash Highway.  KNLB shares the tower with KNFA.
