    Construction permit for 88.1 FM, call letters KMLV.

  • 2001

    July 21, 2001- Sign on with satellite delivered Contemporary Christian Music programming of the K-Love Radio Network in Sacramento, CA.    Antenna located on the WOWT tower at 72nd & Crown Point in Omaha.  (1378 feet). 7.5 miles from Ralston and 3.6 miles from downtown Omaha.

  • 2002

    Power is increased to 6,000 watts at 430 feet.

  • 2003

    Upgrade to 3,700 watts at 722 feet.

  • 2005

    Power is changed to 3,700 watts at 794 feet.

    Date unknown:  KMLV later gained Class CO status to go to 59,000 watts with a directional antenna.

  • 2010

    Upgrade to 59,000 watts at 1280 feet.  Upgrade was made possible due to the end of analog broadcasting by WOWT, Channel 6, which being now digital moved to channel 22 (digital).  Channel 6 audio had been just below the FM band at 87.9 Mhz. The upgrade puts Lincoln on the edge of KMLV”s main coverage area.
