October 22, 2007- KRNP FM signs on with 100,000 watts at 741 feet. Transmitter location: Four miles south of I-80 at Road East 50 and Road East TS, 13 miles west of Sutherland, 30 miles west of North Platte, co-located on the KZTL FM tower. Format: Active Rock, “Rock 100.”

KRNP goes to Armada Media in a trade that includes Legacy’s KZTL 93.5 Paxton-North Platte for eight stations in the Scottsbluff and North Platte markets.

Legacy Communications/Hometown Family Radio retakes day-to-day operations of its six stations in the Scottsbluff market and two in the North Platte market, including KRNP after nearly five years of Armada Media running the stations through a Local Marketing Agreement. KRNP had been operated alongside Armada’s three stations in North Platte but now moves to the Hometown Radio facility at 721 East B Street in North Platte.

August, 2020- Format flips from Active Rock to Classic Rock, branded as “Flat Rock 100.7.”
Eagle Communications acquire KRNP along with KXTL Paxton from Legacy/Hometown for $300,000. Eagle began operating the stations on September 1, 2020 through a local marketing agreement. Studios/Offices move to Eagle Radio’s cluster at 1301 East 4th Street in North Platte.
