Station upgrade to 865 watts at 121 feet atop Kent Hall on Campus, 1050 Shelton Street in Chadron.

Station is donated to the school. Voluntary assignment by Jazz Birds (Dr. Sandy Schaefer and Professor Kathleen Kirsh) to Chadron State College.
“Chadron State College Radio” programming: non-commercial educational and public affairs programming, and will offer on-air and production opportunities for its students, and opportunities for faculty to provide programming content in areas of expertise including art, music and theater.
