    December, 1983-  KGMT FM signs on at 99.3, 26,300 watts at 320 feet.  Programming duplicates KGMT AM.   FM Tower location- US 136 at Meridian Street, 6 miles northeast of Fairbury.

  • 1983

    August, 1984-  KGMT AM & FM are sold to Siebert Communications for $375,000.  Rick Siebert is President and General Manager.  KGMT FM changes call letters to KUTT FM.

  • 1988

    KUTT separates programming from the simulcast of the AM to Country with News and Farm programs.

  • 1994

    KUTT upgrades.  Moves frequency to 99.5 FM, 100,000 watts at 692 feet.  New tower is located south of Harbine about 156 miles east of Fairbury.

  • 1996

    Format adjustment to Hot Country with Farm news.

  • 1997

    KUTT adds ABC network.

  • 2008

    Siebert Broadcasting purchases nearby KWBE 1450 AM (Beatrice) from NRG Media for $650,000.

  • 2015

    Siebert sells to Flood Communications of Beatrice for $7 million.  Sale includes KGMT AM, KUTT FM and KWBE 1450 AM.
