May, 2011- Call letters KWNP is authorized.
October, 2011- VSS Catholic Communications (Omaha) purchases the construction permit from Hispanic Christian Family Network for $16,000. The permit for KWNP calls for 6,000 watts from a tower east of town, but the asset purchase agreement says VSS will have to find a new site.
December, 2011- Call letters changed to KFJS.

Construction permit modified to 1,350 watts at 335 feet and to move transmitter site to the KNOP TV tower five miles North of North Platte along US-83.
August, 2012- Station sign on. Format: Religious, “Spirit 90.1.” -
2022
February, 2022- Authorized power increase to 13,200 watts.

Upgrade completed from 13,500 watts to 13,200 watts, changing from a Class A to a C3. Antenna height remains at 335 feet.
