November 1, 1962- KRVN FM, 93.1 goes on air with 50,000 watts at 600 feet. Studios/offices located at 109 W. 8th Street, Lexington, NE in a former mortuary. Tower location: 7 miles south of Lexington. Max Brown is the General Manager.
November 23, 1962- Tower collapses due to a storm.

1963
July 1, 1963- With a new tower in place, KRVN FM goes back on the air.

1964
June 22, 1964- a tornado clipped off the top 400 feet of the KRVN FM tower.

1965
January 8, 1965- A new 600 foot tower allows the station to go back on the air this date.

1969
January 22, 1969- The 1965 600 foot tower goes down this date.
October 10, 1969- KRVN FM returns to the air with its 4th 600 foot tower.

1971
October 30, 1971- a storm tears down the tower on this date, knocking the station off the air again.

1976
May 27, 1976- KRVN FM returns to the air with 50,000 watts at only 300 feet.

1984
January 10, 1984- KRVN FM gets a power increase to 100,000 watts
April 22, 1984- KRVN FM goes stereo.

1989
KRVN FM and KRVN AM move to a new building at 1007 South Bridge Street in Lexington, which formerly housed the Farm Credit Association.
November 18, 1989- First broadcast at the new studio location.
November 20, 1989- Station dedication by Governor Kay Orr.
December 2, 1989- Congresswoman Virginia Smith cuts the ribbon at the Grand Opening of the new studios/offices.

July 31, 1979- Original General Manager Max Brown retires.
August 1, 1979- New General Manager Eric Brown starts his tenure with the stations.

1982
Max Brown is inducted into the Nebraska Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame.

1985
General Manager Eric Brown is elected as President of the Nebraska Broadcasters Association for 1985.

2004
December 15, 2004- Max Brown passes away.

General Manager Eric Brown is inducted into the Nebraska Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame.

Eric Brown retires as General Manager of the Nebraska Rural Radio Association but remains active with its Foundation.
